Abstract:With the advancement of information technology and in response to the emerging demands for professional talent cultivation within higher education under current circumstances, traditional quality assurance systems for teaching have begun to reveal a marked inadequacy in their capacity to foster continuous enhancement. Digital technologies and artificial intelligence serve as innovative tools for educational reform, offering new momentum to enhance quality assurance systems. This paper embarks on an exploration of digital and intelligent technologies empowerment as a starting point to investigate the innovative practices for integrating digital and intelligent technologies into the development of quality assurance systems within higher education institutions. By analyzing the connotations and developmental requirements of teaching quality assurance systems, the intrinsic relationships with digital and intelligent technologies has been elucidated, thereby identifying viable opportunities for optimizing these systems. Leveraging grassroots teaching units as a focal point, this study delves into the innovative practices that underpin the development of a robust teaching quality assurance system within application-oriented undergraduate institutions empowered by digital and intelligent technologies. It gathers implementation outcomes and insights from a multitude of perspectives. The research findings reveal that advanced technologies could significantly augment both the efficiency and efficacy of quality assurance in teaching.
