Abstract:This paper elaborates the English versions of Chinese medicine classics on Amazon by text database mining technology to analyze the reader comments and star ratings. Aims to analyze the mainstream overseas book sales platform, and makes a quantitative analysis of the evaluation content and star ratings, so as to objectively present the reception of Chinese medicine classics by overseas readers. It is found that overseas readers have a high acceptance of the English version of Neijing translated by LYU Congming, Paul Unschuald, and Li Zhaoguo, but a low acceptance of the translations of Bob Flaws and Guettler. It indirectly reflects that the English translation of TCM cultural classics is based on the correct understanding of the original text.
