Abstract:In the context of the integration of culture and tourism, developing a new business model with culture as the core, tourism as the carrier, and design as the tool has emerged as one of the important ways for handicraft intangible cultural heritage to continuously generate contemporary value. The innovative business model design for handicrafts hinges on the integration of industries, the empowerment of design, along with intellectual and technical support. This open innovation model not only broadens the depth, accuracy, and scope of the meaning and form of cultural and tourism integration, but also positively impacts the cashability of handicrafts and the external influence of local culture.
