Improving the supply system of rural public sports services is essential for rural revitalization. Since the reform and opening up, China has actively explored the development of rural public sports services and achieved a series of achievements. However, there is still a certain gap compared to the requirements of fully implementing the rural revitalization strategy. For example, the following areas should be improved: rationality of resource allocation, supervision mechanism and promotion and guidance of public sports. Therefore, it is necessary to systematically explore the scientific path to optimize the supply of rural public services from the aspects of working mechanism, product supply, talent support, system guarantee, brand building, etc., in accordance with the requirements of the new journey of Chinese path to modernization for the overall revitalization of rural areas.
